Rapper Kendrick Lamar recently put an engagement ring on the finger of his high school honey, Whitney Alford. Together for nearly 10 years, Lamar and Alford met while the two were in high school back in Compton.
Snoop Dogg and Shante Taylor
They’ve had their ups and downs, but Snoop Dogg has been by his high school sweetheart’s side for more than 25 years. Married in 1997, Snoop and Shante Broadus (née Taylor) nearly called it quits back in 2004 when the rapper filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. But ultimately the pair worked through their struggles and renewed their vows in 2008.
