[Watch] Things Get Dangerous In Queen Latifah’s “Brotherly Love” Trailer
Last week, news of Queen Latifah’s latest film project, Brotherly Love, made headlines. The film stars Cory Hardrict, Keke Palmer, Quincy, Eric D. Hill Jr., Romeo Miller, Malik Yoba, Macy Gray, Logan Browning, Faizon Love and more.
According to a description of the project, it is “set on the backdrop of Philadelphia’s famed Overbrook High School” and follows the life of “the nation’s number one high school basketball player Sergio Taylor.” His older brother June, played by Hardrict, had hoop aspirations of his own, but after their father’s passing, he resorts to street life in order to “fill the financial void” in his home. Palmer plays their sister, Jackie, who has been deemed “the princess of the bunch” has aspirations of a career in music. Brown has been cast as her love interest.
Gray will be playing the mother of these siblings, who judging by the trailer, appears to have checked out on life as well as her children.
Brotherly Love is slated to hit theaters April 24. Peep the trailer below.
