Terrence Howard Accuses Ex-Wife Of Threatening His Life
Although this is supposed to be a period of happiness and new beginnings for Terrence Howard, apparently his past is coming back to haunt him—at least he thinks so.
According to TMZ, the “Empire” actor has accused his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, of threatening his life. The expectant father has been receiving threatening messages on Instagram along with his daughter and his wife, and he is convinced that Ghent is behind them. Howard and his family have been the targets of these threats for at least ten months. They’re being sent from a dummy Instagram account and include messages such as:
“I’m watching you! I’m coming for … LOL,”
“You two won’t live to see your children.”
“Your husband is cheating on you! Just thought you should know.”
“Aww whores run in the family! Lol.”
And then, there was a photo of a pill bottle that belonged to Howard, which was captioned:
“Oh dear, look what I found. Do hope you refilled. It’s one of the things you can’t leave home without.”
A judge recently signed off on a search warrant, which grants the LAPD permission to dig to find out if Ghent is actually behind the threats, as investigators claim that there’s already reason to believe that she is. Ghent, however, says she’s innocent. She also claims that she is no longer a suspect after speaking with detectives. The police department, on the other hand, says the investigation is still ongoing.
Obviously, Ghent is innocent until proven guilty, but considering their tumultuous past, we wouldn’t be surprised to find out that she’s behind this.
