In a little over a month, Bravo’s “Blood, Sweat & Heels” will be returning for a second season. All but one of the original cast members, Brie Bythewood, have returned for the new season. As you may have heard, Brie recently welcomed her first child, which would certainly explain why she decided to sit this one out. To replace Brie, Bravo executives added two new faces to the mix: Arzo Anwar and Chantelle Fraser. According to the network, Arzo works as a celebrity fashion stylist, while Chantelle runs a talent agency.
Judging by the series’ recently released trailer, plenty of drama will unfold. Cast member Geneva Thomas faces some legal troubles following at least one of two recent run-ins with law enforcement. Mica Hughes, on the other hand, seems to be grappling what appears to be the end of her relationship with her boyfriend, Terry. Of course, the new cast members bring plenty of drama; however, the most unfortunate of the storylines has to be Daisy Lewellyn’s, as the self-proclaimed style expert is in the fight of her life after being “diagnosed with a life-threatening medical crisis.”
“God, he is taking me through this,” she says in the emotional preview clip.
So far, the specifics of Daisy’s condition have not been revealed, but judging by the trailer, it’s pretty serious. It seems that her story will overshadow most of the cattiness that is guaranteed to unfold this season and hopefully, it will serve as encouragement to others who may be facing health complications.
The new season airs Sunday, March 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. You can check out the full preview clip below. Let us know your thoughts.
