“I Kind Of Saw This Coming:” Bobbi Kristina’s Aunt Says She Tried To Warn Her Against Trusting People [Watch]

February 11, 2015  |

Apparently, the Brown family is sick and tired of random “sources” going to the press and leaking out false stories about what’s going on with Bobbi Kristina Brown, who remains on life support at Emory University Hospital. Bobby Brown’s sister Leola Brown decided to break the silence that she has maintained since her niece’s hospitalization, in an interview with My Fox Atlanta. According to Leola, she attempted to warn Krissy about the danger that she would encounter over two years ago.

“I was just numb. I was so numb,” she said of her initial reaction after visiting Bobbi Kristina in the hospital. “I kind of saw this coming. You know, I really saw it.”

She went on to say that she attempted to warn her niece against trusting people.

“I tried to reach out,” Leola continued. “I made a statement and told Krissy not to trust anybody and I meant that.”

Unfortunately, Leola says that Bobbi Kristina did not take heed to her warnings, which is why she was so numb after the hospital visit.

“I was very numb when I saw her and when I walked in the room and saw her there, I couldn’t even stand there too long, but I knew I had to pray. So I asked God to give her my energy and to please help her get through this.”

In the extended version of her interview, which was removed from the internet this morning, Leola also expressed that she was almost certain her niece’s boyfriend Nick Gordon was responsible for her drowning. She would not disclose the evidence she had to confirm her suspicions, but she seemed confident that he would be prosecuted.

Eerily, in 2012 following Whitney’s death, Leola spoke openly about her concerns for Krissy during an interview with Access Hollywood.

“I am concerned about my niece Bobbi Kristina,” Leola said in the interview. “Krissy is not safe right now. I want to say to Krissy that it’s very, very, very important that she does not trust anybody at this time except her father, her grandmother Cissy and myself and I mean that. Right now is the time to really just shut the door.”

Leola was also under the impression that Whitney’s death was no accident.

“I believe Whitney’s death was not accidental. No. She did not just pass away like that.”

Currently, Leola says that while this situation is extremely hard on all of her relatives, Bobbi Kristina’s condition is improving.
