Kevin McCall brought in the month lamenting over the fact that he was not present for his daughter Marley’s first birthday celebration.
“Well these pictures will do it’s jus a day…I’m full of Joy and thankful you spent your 1st bday with those who love you…don’t trip I got next one,” wrote McCall.
Many wondered if the singer/songwriter wasn’t present for Marley’s birthday celebration by choice or if he simply was not invited. HipHollywood recently caught up with Eva Marcille on the red carpet of the 46th Annual NAACP Image Awards and according to the model, McCall shouldn’t have been surprised that he wasn’t allowed to attend their daughter’s party.
“It has been public knowledge that I have a five-year restraining order against him,” Marcille bluntly explained. “I don’t know why this special day your restraining order should be dropped, but it’s not.”
The “America’s Next Top Model” winner was all smiles while discussing how lovely the party was though.
“Actually, I feel like it was my birthday party. I love this whole she gets a birthday because it’s like my extra party a year. It was awesome seeing my daughter turn one. I mean, nothing is better.”
Last week, McCall claimed during an explosive interview that Marcille’s restraining order was unnecessary because he didn’t do many of the things that she claimed he did—including chasing her around their home and trying to snatch Marley out of her arms.
“I didn’t chase her around the house. I didn’t do any of that. The police were called. I left. There were no charges made. The only reason the restraining order was taken into effect is because I was never properly served.”
We’re still hoping these two can find a way to co-parent amicably.
