Welcoming a child into the world can be one of life’s greatest moments, and while most new parents can’t wait to share the occasion with the world these celebrities have purposely hidden their precious bundles of joy from the fans and the snooping eyes of the media.

Titan Jewell Weatherspoon

2014 was a big year personally for Kelly Rowland. The former Destiny’s Child member wed her longtime manager Tim Weatherspoon and became a mother six months later. Rowland has been taking cues from Beyonce because she’s kept her son Titan Jewell under wraps. The only photo the “Motivation” singer shared of her son was a picture of her hubby Tim holding him with the seven-week-old baby’s back to the camera.

Aman Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry is known for his movies and television shows but when it comes to his personal life, the filmmaker keeps things very personal. Other than showing up on the red carpet with his longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele on his arm, Perry has been silent about his relationships. Last fall he announced that Bekele was making him a father and soon his son Aman Tyler Perry was born in November. “I wish I could say that I’m up all night, but Mommy is doing a lot of work,” Perry said. “She’s a great mother who just wants to be there for the baby. We have no nannies, we have no help. She wants to do it all. So we’re doing it all. I’m getting a little sleep, but she’s not getting any.”

Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha

Kerry Washington may have been on one of the hottest shows on primetime television, but we didn’t even know the “Scandal” star had a man in her life until it was announced that she was off of the market. News of their nuptials surfaced several weeks after they wed in a secret ceremony. The couple has been just as secretive about their daughter. Washington gave birth to Isabelle Amarachi last April and although they’ve kept her hidden from the public, she did talk about being pregnant while on “Scandal.” “For one thing, I was going through this amazing physical transition, this physical journey of having a baby, that my character was not going through. And I work very physically,” she said. “What I do is often grounded in the body.”

Genesis Ali Dean

Motherhood definitely agrees with Alicia Keys. She took some time off from the music industry soon after tying the knot to hubby Swizz Beatz to enjoy being a new mom to their son Egypt. Keys ended 2014 on another high note. She welcomed their second child Genesis Ali into the world two days after Christmas. Although she’s yet to share a photo of her new bundle of joy, Keys did share a photo of her baby boy’s footprints on Instagram. “The joy of joy is joy!! It’s a boy!!” Keys wrote in a caption accompanying the photo. “We are so grateful!! #blessings!!”

Angelo Konecki

Ever since her son came into her world, Adele has fought to keep him out of the public eye. The British singer gave birth to son Angelo in 2012 and took a long hiatus from singing and performing to focus on being a mother. And she didn’t take too kindly to those that tried to get photos of her son. Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki sued a UK-based photo agency that published photos of Angelo taken during family outings. The case was settled for an undisclosed amount of money last summer. The “Rolling In The Deep” singer has posted photos of her son on Instagram but she’s never shown his face, instead sharing a snapshot of his feet or hands.

Esmeralda Amada Gosling

Eva Mendes sure can keep a secret. The public didn’t even find out the “We Own The Night” actress was pregnant until she was well into her third trimester. But Mendes is used to keeping her cards close to her chest. She rarely speaks about her relationship with Ryan Gosling and the two usually attend Hollywood events solo. Mendes gave birth to their first daughter Esmeralda Amada last September but in true form, they’ve been silent on the joys of becoming a new parent and Esmeralda has yet to make her public debut.

Rose Dauriac

Last March, Scarlett Johansson announced she was pregnant around the same time she broke the news of her engagement to French boyfriend Romain Dauriac. The “Her” actress gave birth to baby Rose in the fall but the only time Johansson has been photographed out and about with her daughter was when she was completely bundled up and resting on mom’s shoulder. Johansson did open up about balancing work and a family. “There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater,” she said. “I want to be able to have it all,” she said. “I know that with that there will be some sacrifices.”

Rosario Dawson’s New Daughter

Actress Rosario Dawson was adopted by her own father and she’s always felt that she would do the same thing. And last December she did. The “Top 5” star adopted a 12-year-old girl but has been very private about the details. We’ve yet to see Dawson out and about with her new daughter. She did open up about wanting to adopt a child to “Latina” magazine back in 2008. “I always wanted to adopt kids cause my dad adopted me,” she said. “That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more.”

Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher thought he found love with Demi Moore but after six years the two squared off in a bitter battle in divorce court. Not long after that, there were rumors swirling around that Kutcher was getting to know his friend and “That 70’s Show” co-star Mila Kunis on a more personal level. The two have been very tight-lipped about their relationship and their newborn daughter. The “Family Guy” actress gave birth to Wyatt Isabelle in October and she opened up about motherhood during a recent chat with Reddit users. “It is the most life-changing experience you can have, in my opinion. EVERYTHING changed,” she wrote.

Madly in love with my little Reign Aston Disick.

Reign Aston Disick

It’s only been a couple of months since Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her third child but the world has yet to baby Reign Aston Disick’s face. His birth comes at a rough time for his parents. Kourtney and her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick have reportedly hit another rough patch in their relationship and are living separately. The only photo Kourtney shared of her youngest child was a picture of his hand on Instagram. Little Reign shares the same birthday as his big brother Mason.

Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky

With one grandparent who was a U.S. president and another who was Secretary of State and could possibly be the next Commander in Chief, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky was born into one of the most powerful political families in the country. We watched Chelsea Clinton grow up in the White House and last fall she made her parents very proud and grandparents for the first time when she and husband Marc Mezvinsky welcomed baby Charlotte into the world. The former first family has kept Charlotte out of the limelight. Other than posing all bundled up for a family photo with her parents and political grandparents, we haven’t seen much of Charlotte.

Avri Roel Downey

At the age of 49 years old, Robert Downey Jr. became a father again. His wife of almost a decade Susan gave birth to his third child in November. Although he has two sons, one with Susan, the “Iron Man” star is now the father to a baby girl, daughter Avri Roel. Downey recently talked about what it’s like being an older father. “It’s always great to be a dad no matter where you’re at or what else is going on,” he said. “Life now is I’m either working or I’m with him, I’m not like 20-something and trying to party or hang out with my buddies or get laid or anything.”
