“I Want A Husband!” Porsha Williams Says She’s Ready To Be Someone’s Wife Again

- By

Porsha Williams married Kordell Stewart in 2011 (the ceremony was even featured on WE tv’s Platinum Weddings), afterwards, the two, who seemed like a solid couple, decided to appear on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” From there, their issues were exposed to the nines (he was pretty controlling, she was trying to follow the rest of the housewives too much), and eventually, Stewart would file for divorce in 2013, with Williams claiming she found out on the Internet.

An experience like that would have many women running from the idea of getting married again, but while chatting with the ladies of “The Real,” Williams (she was filling in for Tamera Mowry-Housley by the way) said that she isn’t dating with the interest of just having having fun–she’s looking to be a Mrs. again.

Porsha Williams: “I want a husband!”

Tamar Braxton: “You do?”

Porsha Williams: “Yes!”

Tamar Braxton: “You do?!”

Porsha Williams: “Yes I do! And I put it all the way out there and I’m not afraid if he gets afraid because I say I want a husband.”

Tamar Braxton: “But you just had one Porsha!”

Porsha Williams: “I did, but guess what, he’s gone.”

Williams went on to say that in the quest to find the real Mr. Right, she is not tolerating very much from men, including shoddy first dates. She’s also offering tips for other women too:

“A woman who wants a husband carries herself a certain way. In Atlanta, on first dates, men take women to strip clubs. They do! It’s just like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing and expecting different results. Well, back in the day, maybe I did go to the strip club, maybe I did party with you in exotic dance clubs, but you have to start looking like a wife. And I don’t mean in just how you dress, because I love to dress sexy, but in the way you carry yourself and your conversation. My thing is this: I’m here in my life, I need you to come in and support me and be there for me. What do you want in your life? If it does not meet even a little bit, he’s NOT the one.”
