While doing press to promote her forthcoming film, Top Five, Gabrielle Union stopped by “The Jimmy Fallon Show” for a rather interesting interview. During the televised appearance, the newly married actress gushed about her star-studded wedding reception, being invited to party with Prince and forging a friendship with Chris Rock. Check out some highlights from her interview below.

On her wedding and reception:

“It was amazing. It was a perfect day. It was perfect. We had John Legend perform. We had super group Guy reunited. Questlove deejayed. The highlight would have to be the dance-off. It was ‘You Got Served’ part 8. It was amazing.”

On Dwyane’s poor dance skills:

“God has given him many gifts…dancing is not one of them. Inside, he is Usher and then what happens from his brain to his extremities is like a toddler just learning to bend. It’s so precious. It’s precious.”

On becoming friends with Chris Rock:

“I’ve known Chris forever. In Hollywood, everyone ends up at these events. There’s like the cool crowd, and then there are the people who are out by the bar. We’re like the kids kind of like looking on the outside and making wise remarks. Chris is always in the back corner with me and he’s a cool cat.”

On being invited to party with Prince:

“It’s the coolest most bizarre thing. Your phone goes off, you get a text and it’s just an address and you’re like, “Oh! I got it! I got it!” But you don’t get a plus one, so you have to hope that whoever you came to the Hollywood party with has a phone that goes off also. But if your friend doesn’t get a text, you have to ditch them. ‘Bye! I’m going to Prince’s house.’”

On being awkward around Prince:

“I didn’t know Prince from before, just from ‘Purple Rain’ and I’m like fascinated. Sometimes I’m a little socially awkward and I panic when I meet people who are amazing like Prince. I was like, ‘Thank you…uh…Mr. Prince. I’m Gabrielle Union,’ and like trying to give my list of credits to explain why–.’ And he had like these hors d’oeuvres and I was like, ‘If I would’ve known that there was food I would’ve brought a tuna casserole’ and I panicked. Like, why would I say that?”
