Last week, it was reported that “Blood, Sweat and Heels” star Geneva Thomas had been arrested and chaged with felony assault for allegedly attacking her co-star Melyssa Ford with a Vodka bottle. Days later, footage of Melyssa being wheeled into Lenox Hospital for follow-up care was published to the Internet. Though Melyssa would not speak about the incident in detail, she did express that she had been “attacked.” She also claimed to be in the dark about what triggered the altercation.
Geneva has remained fairly silent since the fight, but according to TMZ, she’s planning to sue her co-star for a whopping $25 million. Apparently, Geneva is arguing that Melyssa somehow framed her to look like a violent criminal. Although, I’m not really sure who their right minds would subject themselves to such violence for the purpose of making another person look bad. As you may recall, Melyssa had to get three staples in her head to close the gash allegedly caused by Geneva.
The other questionable aspect of all of this is the figure that Geneva is reportedly suing for. If you watched the first season of “Blood, Sweat & Heels,” you saw that Melyssa was working really hard to get her finances in order, which probably means that she does not have $25 million lying around to hand over to Geneva. I suppose that as time goes on, more details will be revealed. But as of right now, this lawsuit talk isn’t making too much sense. If anything, I honestly expected to hear about Melyssa suing Geneva—not the other way around. But this incident is still fresh, so I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more to come.
