But a couple years after releasing the free project “K.I.D.S.,” the Pittsburgh rapper was slapped with a $10 million lawsuit by Lord Finesse. The legendary hip-hop producer was upset Miller used his 1995 “Hip 2 Da Game” instrumental beat for his breakout hit “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza.” Miller countered that it was a common practice in the rap game to use industry beats on mixtape songs. The case was settled out of court a year later.
