“Django” Actress Daniele Watts Charged With Lewd Conduct For Alleged Car Sex
In the event that you thought the Daniele Watts–LAPD saga was over, allow us to inform you that you are sadly mistaken.
According to TMZ, the “Django Unchained” actress and her boyfriend, Brian Lucas, have been formally charged with lewd conduct for the September 16 incident, which occurred outside of CBS Studios in Los Angeles. As you may recall, someone called the police on Watts and Lucas claiming that the pair were having sex in their car…in the middle of the day. Watts, however, denied that she and Lucas were doing anything other than making out and accused officers of harassing her.
After a dramatic confrontation with the responding officers, Watts was let go. Once the chatter surrounding the incident died down, most of us assumed that the saga had come to a close, but apparently, the Los Angeles County District Attorney had something else in mind. After reviewing evidence, which includes witness accounts, LAPD audio and photos that allegedly depict Watts straddling Lucas with her breasts exposed, prosecutors decided to press charges.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in a Los Angeles County jail; however, we’d be shocked if either of them actually serve any time.
