Roberta Shields certainly didn’t need her son rapper Ludacris to take care of her. With an MBA from John Hopkins University, Mrs. Shields worked for 20 years at a Fortune 500 company before quitting her job and taking on positions in her son’s company. Luda’s mom holds the title of CFO at Bridges Enterprises, which includes music, real estate, fashion and publishing entities. She is also the president of The Ludacris Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps the youth help themselves.
