Great news for Sex and the City fans. According to Jennifer Hudson, who starred in Sex and the City 2, there may be a Sex and the City 3 in the works.
“Somebody just came to me talking about that,” JHud revealed during an interview with Dish Nation. “So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. So look for it.”
As you may recall, in the sequel Jennifer played Carrie Bradshaw’s hopelessly romantic assistant Louise. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that so far, there’s only a storyline for part three, but nothing has really been set in stone.
“We’ve never really had real conversation about it, other than that I know there is a story. I think it’s a really lovely, wonderful story but whether or not we tell it remains to be seen,” she told an audience in France at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, according to Daily Mail.
The series’ executive producer Michael Patrick King revealed to Entertainment Weekly in February that there’s one story left to be told about Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda; however, he’s unsure if that story will ever see the light of day.
“The great gift or riches or luck is that I worked on two shows that were so full that they spilled over into people’s lives and the characters were rounded enough that you could still wonder where they are,” he said.
