I’m Lovin’ It! Tom Joyner Sets New Record At Mississippi McDonald’s
Imagine having your Egg McMuffin served to you by none other than Tom Joyner at a McDonald’s drive in. Well, that happened for 400 cars recently as the star radio personality and the crew from his morning show, “Tom Joyner Morning Show” — J. Anthony Brown and Sybil Wilkes–dished out meals at a local McDonald’s in Jackson, MS. Not only did they put a smile on hundreds of Mickey D patrons but they also set a record for the establishment.
And Joyner and company may be serving you soon. He and his crew are visiting their station’s affiliates. He will stop in New Orleans (KMEZ-FM 106.7), Baton Rouge (KQXL 106.5FM), and the aforementioned Jackson, MS (WKXI-FM 107.5), on a monthlong tour ending in Memphis, TN (WKXI 107.5FM) at the Southern Heritage Classic, which happens Sept. 11-13.
Expect more record breaking from Joyner along the way. He has a habit of breaking records. “For seven years, he had two radio shows. And he even set a record filling a 3,000 passenger cruise ship before chartered ships,” reports The Michigan Chronicle.
And don’t worry, after September Joyner and his crew will still be on the road. Joyner’s tour to affiliates will take place every other week throughout October and November nationwide.
