Not all paternity suits come from strangers. During a 2010 press conference for The Losers, Idris Elba happily announced to the press that he and his current girlfriend were the proud parents of a baby boy. But as the baby got older, friends of Idris began to murmur that the baby “didn’t look like me.” So Idris demanded a DNA test only to find out the baby wasn’t his.
He told GQ Magazine, “To be given that and then have it taken away so harshly,was like taking a full-on punch in the face: POW.
You know, the truth is—like, even admitting it, I’ll probably get laughed at for the rest of my life. But it is just tragic, and it happened.”
