Judge Rules That Robin Roberts’ Stalker Is Unfit To Stand Trial

A couple of months ago, we told you about a frightening incident involving a man who showed up to the studio where “Good Morning America” is filmed, threatening to harm anchor Robin Roberts on at least eight occasions between June 10 and June 24.

“When I see her I’m going to punch her in the face,” 43-year-old Troy Warren reportedly told Michael Centrella, the security director of “Good Morning America” during the last episode, which occurred on June 24th.

He was later arrested and charged with harassment and stalking. Bond was set at $3,000; however, Warren remained in police custody.

“Due to the defendant’s above described conduct Ms Robin Roberts fears for her physical safety and well-being,” court documents revealed.

After reviewing the results from psych exams performed on the suspect, Judge Erika Edwards ruled earlier today that Warren was unfit to stand trial, Page Six reports.

Warren’s attorney declined to comment on the judge’s ruling, but his next court date has been scheduled for September 17. This is such a scary situation. Hopefully Warren can receive the help that he needs while behind bars.
