When living “Young, Wild and Free” goes wrong. You would think the air would be filled with plenty of “chill vibes” at a Wiz Khalifa concert. Unfortunately at his San Jose, CA concert Friday night, the air was thick with tension as shots rang out while the rapper performed.
It turns out a man was shot backstage at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA just after 11:00 pm.
Sources tell TMZ that the victim was shot at least 5 times and police confirmed that the victim has died. Police spokesperson, Shino Tanaka confirms they are looking for witnesses and say someone had to have seen what happened since it took place backstage at a concert, but as of now no one is cooperating. The shooter is still at large. They are also trying to determine how the individual got the weapon inside of the venue.
Wiz Khalifa performed in front of a sold out show of 22,000 fans.
So you mean to tell me no one saw anything while backstage at a concert? Have we learned nothing from “no snitching” with the violence that has taken place in recent weeks. Hopefully someone speaks up soon and the shooter is apprehended.
