VH1’s Dating Naked is one of my new favorite shows. Besides pushing the envelope with, well, naked dating, the show gives viewers the chance to observe whether intimacy can be developed when partners are allowed to see each other’s goods right from the start. But unfortunately for one contestant, runway model Jessica Nizewitz, it looks like dating prospects and cuddy will be at an all-time low because of the show.
Nizewitz starred in the third episode of Dating Naked and claims that despite producers’ assurances that her genitals would be blurred out during the show, when it aired, viewers were able to see what the good Lord blessed her with from a back-end shot that was captured as she wrestled with her date. Now the 28-year-old Long Island native is filing a lawsuit against Viacom for $10 million. Nizewitz exclusively told The New York Post:
“I felt lied to, manipulated and used. I was horrified. I immediately started getting text messages. Everyone saw it. One of the messages read, ‘So your money shot is on cable TV.’”
Nizewitz’s grandmother saw the episode and now isn’t interested in speaking to her. “She’s probably mad. My parents are just annoyed,” Nizewitz relayed to The Post.
In her lawsuit, Nizewitz names Viacom (the parent company that owns VH1), Firelight Entertainment and Lighthearted Entertainment. Besides facing public humiliation, Nizewitz said the episode has cost her a budding relationship.
After the episode aired, her love interest stopped calling her. “I would have hoped we could have had a long-term relationship. He was employed, Jewish, in his 30s and that’s pretty much ideal,” Nizewitz shared.
Below is a blurred photo of the money shot seen around the world.
