Steve Harvey: King Of Giving Back
Steve Harvey has so many charitable things going on it is hard to keep track.
First, there is the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation (SMHF). The foundation’s goal is to offer outreach to fatherless children and young adults. They do so through educational enrichment, one-on-one mentoring and global service initiatives.
SMHF recently joined Coca-Cola’s Pay It Forward program to mentor the next generation of leader.
Harvey also partnered with Strayer University not long ago to help more Black students reach college graduation through the “Success Project.”
There’s also the Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men National Camp. “Chosen through submitted applications, the Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men National Camp in Dallas serves young men aged 13 to 18, who are without fathers. The young men’s mentoring experience encompassed personal enrichment, tools and frank dialogue on positive self-image, education, entrepreneurship, manhood, family, dating and more, as well as sports and entertainment, outdoor team building challenges with physical fitness, basketball, paintball, obstacle courses, martial arts, fishing and wildlife education,” reports BlackCelebrityGiving.com.
