“#LetItGooooo”: Kim And Khloe Kardashian Go In On Adrienne Bailon For Comments About Past Relationship With Rob
See, this is what happens when folks start dating rappers and think they’re trill…
We told you that Adrienne Bailon got her cover girl on for Latina Magazine, and looked gorgeous while doing so. But aside from talking about love and marriage, she talked about past love and heartbreak. If you’ll recall, for a time there in 2008, Bailon was featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians because she was in a serious relationship with Rob Kardashian. So serious I guess, that Bailon got a tattoo on her butt with Rob’s name. Unfortunately, that relationship was shot to hell when Kardashian cheated on her, and even though it ended a long time ago, and she is in a committed relationship with producer Lenny Santiago, she still brings up Kardashian’s name quite a bit.
So in the Latina interview she decided to talk about the time they were dating, and went as far as to say that being attached to him and the Kardashian name even after they broke up hurt her career…
“To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late—not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show. At the time, I didn’t think anyone would even care. To this day, people will still say, ‘You ruined Rob’s life!’ and I’ll think, Damn, I was still playing with Barbie dolls when I met him.
It’s common knowledge that he cheated on me, and it always bothered me that people were like, ‘Pero, why couldn’t you forgive him?’ Why are women always the ones who have to forgive? If you cheated on a man, he would be like, ‘You’re disgusting, and I want nothing to do with you.’ But women, we’re supposed to be like, ‘He messed up. He made a mistake.’ And, in my situation, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God! I made a mistake!’ He strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal.”
Someone who didn’t appreciate these comments was not Rob, but his famous sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. Interesting enough, both women boldly took to Twitter to say that she was kicking their brother while he is down (Rob is allegedly suffering with depression and an extensive weight gain). But really, it seemed like they were actually mad at the fact that she said being attached to the “Kardashian label” put a dent in her career:
A follower of Khloe told her that Bailon shouldn’t have said anything about Rob, and Khloe agreed, proudly sticking by the shade that her big sister threw.
What do you think though? Was Bailon doing too much? Or is it the Kardashian sisters who are doing the absolute most?
