“Do You Know the Web Site Number?”
In a 2009 interview on the CBS Early Show, not only did Biden forget the address of the website he was promoting, he showed his age when he called a URL “a number.” When asked if Biden could tell viewers the name of a site that allows users to track stimulus spending, Biden said, “You know, I’m embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number? I should have it in front of me and I don’t. I’m actually embarrassed.” He lost a few “cool” points among the young generation with that one, but perhaps won a few “I know how you feel” votes from the older crowd who still use floppy disks and Walkmans.
