“I’ve Learned A Lot From My Previous Mistakes”: Kenya Moore Says She’s Not Talking About Her Love Life Anymore
Since she was cast on Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore’s personal life has pretty much been all out in the open for people to see and criticize. We watched her “relationship” with Walter Jackson fall apart during season five (and he would later say that it was all made for TV and not real), and when she made mention of an “African prince” who was out here buying her Bentleys, but never introduced him, she was clowned for it. And let’s not forget the time that she tried to post some photos with a mystery man on Instagram only to be dragged by folks who couldn’t help but notice that she never showed his face…
With all of those lessons learned the hard way, Moore tells The JasmineBrand that from now on, she’s not going to speak on who she’s involved with.
“You know, I’ve learned a lot from my previous mistakes and announcing who I’m dating. I would just rather people just think I’m not dating anybody then to put my relationship out there and people are in your business and it somehow affects your relationship and it really does. I’ve been very quiet for 20 years about who I’ve been dating and one year I made the mistake of presenting that person and it wasn’t good. So, I’m going back to not talking about it.”
Makes sense. Every mention of a new man in her life receives quite a bit of shade and side-eyes from people. But at the same time, as a reality star, you can’t really get mad about people being “in your business” when you put it out there (and especially when she’s in everyone else’s). But what do you think?
