15 Celebs Who Should Have Never Gone Under The Knife
Thinking about going under the knife? Maybe you ought to think twice. These celebrities are suffering some pretty big consequences for their plastic surgery decisions.
“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star K. Michelle has only admitted to getting a butt lift, but her extra large posterior has earned her a lot of negative attention after her appearance on reality TV. We’re not mad at her backside but do you agree with naysayers who claim she overdid it?
As Vivica struggles to make her way back into the spotlight, she’s been struggling against the negative publicity surrounding her plastic surgery. But she’s still convinced that it’s the way forward:
“This is how I feel about life; as long as you keep getting better, whatever it takes to get you there, you do it. If you’re comfortable with it — you like it, I love it.”
Karlie Redd’s breast implants weren’t over the top, but they did spring a leak while she was starring on reality TV. Rumor has it that her sometimes boyfriend Benzino got her a new pair but we’re wondering if she’d be better off doing without. We can’t even get started on the booty K. Michelle so eloquently pointed out as lopsided.
“Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star MiMi Faust shouted out her plastic surgeon on Instagram. And even though she doesn’t regret it now, we think this and the sex tape are two reality TV decisions she’s going to regret.
Jocelyn Wildenstein has spent $4 million dollars on plastic surgery to look like a cat for her husband. Facelifts, lip augmentation, breast augmentation, eyebrow lifts and dozens of other procedures have turned her into
more of an oddity than a work of art.
The “Dirty Dancing” star says her nose job ruined her career:
“I went into the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous. It was the nose job from hell. I’ll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognizes because of a nose job.”
Wendy is a notorious plastic surgery advocate who thinks all women would go under the knife if they could afford it.
“If I gave you $10,000 and said you can use my doctor, you’d do it…In the black community, we’re taught to be ashamed of, like plastic surgery, or getting help for alcoholism, or sending our addicts to rehab. Or wearing blond hair.”
But some people think that Wendy Williams is less of a racial pioneer and more of a plastic surgery fanatic.
Carmen says that she regrets the decision to jump up from a 32B to a DD:
“It’s nice that I don’t have to wear a push-up bra any more, but I could have left myself alone. I think I was fine the way I was. I had nice breasts before — though they were small.”
She wanted to get them reduced a long time ago, but her husband Dave Navarro convinced her to keep them.
“Mob Wives” star Big Ang has admitted to being obsessed with getting plastic surgery. She had her first boob job 27 years ago. Now her multiple surgeries have made her the butt of a lot of reality TV jokes.
Once upon a time Tara Reid was famous for her role in “American Pie” but ever since the unfortunate nip slip that revealed her botched breast implant surgery, she’s become the poster child for terrible plastic surgery. To save her Hollywood image she got corrective surgery and posed for Playboy in 2009. But the big roles still aren’t coming her way.
Plastic surgery almost ruined Mickey Rourke’s career. When it was time for the actor to make a comeback, the tabloids were more concerned with his overly-tight face lift than his acting chops. Luckily his stellar performances are able to keep him working.
In 2010, Jane told Larry King that she regrets caving into the Hollywood pressure to go under the knife:
“If I was really brave, I would have not. I vowed I wouldn’t — I did, and I don’t feel proud of it.”
The comedienne has never admitted to a plastic surgery addiction, but her daugther Melissa rivers tried to stage an intervention for her on their reality show, “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?”
Sources close to Bruce Jenner say that the rest of the Kardashians have been concerned about Bruce’s addiction to plastic surgery for a long time. We’re not sure how many surgeries Bruce has had, but the Hollywood back talk is that he’s trying to become a woman — or Michael Jackson — which may be a sign that it’s time to stop.
We’re not sure how many surgeries Lil’ Kim has had, but the consensus seems to be that she’s addicted. If that is the truth, Kimberly Jones seems to be in deep denial. When confronted about her augmentation on Power 105.1, Kim clapped back.
“Why would you ask me that? There’s [sic] so many people who have surgery. You know? So, I don’t know where that question is coming from.”
