Columbus Short Ordered To Shell Out $17K In Spousal Support
It’s looking like Columbus Short is facing way more than 99 problems these days. In addition to the criminal charges, which have been filed against him, the former “Scandal” actor has been ordered hand over quite a bit of cash per month to his estranged wife, Tanee Short.
According to TMZ, the troubled star pulled a no-show at a family court appearance. There was no lawyer present on his behalf either. The hearing ended with the absent actor being ordered to pay Tanee $17,005 per month in spousal support. He has also been ordered to pay an additional $4, 542 in child support for their two-year-old daughter. On top of all of that, he has to shell out $25,000 for Tanee’s legal fees.
Maybe Columbus should start taking these legal proceedings a bit more seriously. According to reports, he hasn’t even responded to Tanee’s divorce petition yet. Mind you, she filed in April. Things have been extremely ugly for the couple since their split and Tanee has even been granted a temporary restraining order against him.
