Super Bad: Lupita Nyong’o And Her Flawless Face Turn Heads In First Lancôme Ad

On her ambassador/spokeswoman steez, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o revealed her first beauty ad with iconic brand Lancôme yesterday, and as usual, she doesn’t disappoint. Nyong’o showed off her bronzed skin while helping to sell the brand’s Teint Idole foundation (which comes in “28 shades for all skin tones”). She says that the foundation is “light and long-wearing, allowing me to face my day with confidence and ease.” To help celebrate her first print ad for a product with Lancôme, the brand actually posted all of Nyong’o’s favorite beauty products on their website, just in case you were hoping to get a glow like her. 

In the July issue of Vogue, which she covers, the beauty, who is working on the new Star Wars film, spoke about how important her new gig with Lancôme is to her. She said “It’s not about conforming to an already established idea of what is beautiful, and I like that. I am particularly proud to represent  Lancôme’s unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself.”

She continues to make major moves, and we’re happy to watch them all come to fruition. Go Lupita!
