Last week, we told you all about the terrible collision involving comedian and actor Tracy Morgan. Shortly after news of the accident made headlines, footage from the crash was obtained by TMZ. In the video, comedian Ardie Fuqua can be seen being pulled from a wrecked vehicle by several people. Now, family members of the victims of the crash—including Tracy’s ex-wife, Sabrina— are urging TMZ and other sites to remove the footage.
“They need to take the footage down,” the mother of three of Tracy’s children told the Daily News. “They are destroying my family.”
“They are hurting (Ardie’s) daughter,” Sabrina continued. “This is just not good. I’m heartbroken right now … We’re hanging in there, but this isn’t helping. It’s ridiculous.”
Ardie Fuqua’s daughter, Krizya Fuqua, has also taken to the Internet pleading with sites to remove footage of the video.
“I honestly would like to petition for TMZ to remove this video,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “They don’t understand how hurtful it is to see my father be dragged out of this wreckage.Along with all of this false information on his condition. I understand people want to know and people want to be updated, but enough is enough. This is hurting my heart so bad that this video is posted for all to see. No one should see my father this way.
All I ask is to be kindly left alone so that my father and everyone else can recover in peace. Enough is enough. Please, TMZ, remove this video.”
Do you think TMZ should remove the video out of courtesy to the family?
