Michael Jace Charged With Murder, Facing 50 Years To Life
Three days after actor Michael Jace was arrested for the shooting death of his wife, April, TMZ reports that “The Shield” star has now officially been charged with murder and now faces 50 years to life in state prison if convicted.
It’s quite unimaginable that Jace won’t be convicted considering he’s the one who called authorities Monday night and told them “I shot my wife.” April was already dead by the time officers arrived outside of his LA home. The couple’s two young sons who were home at the time of the shooting are now living with relatives, according to police. Meanwhile, Jace is currently being held on $2 million bail and is scheduled to appear in court sometime today.
Since the night of the crime when authorities released a statement saying “the motive of the murder is believed to be domestic violence,” damning evidence has come out to prove that theory, including divorce documents which detail a history of domestic abuse and neighbors’ accounts of Jace’s slain wife taking her children and leaving their home the night before the murder. Given these details, it would appear 50 years to life behind bars is definitely in the actor’s future. What do you think?
