Danity Kane fans who have finally adjusted to the idea of the ladies being a quartet as opposed to quintet, may be disappointed to learn that group has recently been shaved down to a trio. Last Friday, during a performance in Anaheim, California, group member Aundrea Fimbres announced that she is leaving the group to focus more on her personal life. In a bittersweet moment, the 30-year-old singer revealed that she’s engaged to be married and has big plans to start a family.
“I just recently got engaged,” Aundrea told her screaming audience before flashing her ring. “Let me tell you, there have been two dreams of mine. It’s been to be a singer and be on stage like this and to have a family. Well, in a couple of months, that’s all about to come true. I’m about to get married.”
The former “Making The Band” star then introduced her soon-to-be stepdaughter to the audience.
“This has been super amazing,” she emotionally continued. “I’ve gotten to do some amazing things with Danity Kane, but it’s time for me to start the next chapter in my life. So I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to accomplish my dreams. I love you guys so much. And I just wanted you guys to know that from me. There have been a lot of rumors.”
Some have been speculating that Aundrea is actually already pregnant, pointing out that she appears a bit fuller than usual in the video capturing her departure announcement. But I suppose we’ll have to stay tuned to see how true that is. We’re definitely happy for Aundrea beginning this new chapter of her life.
