How to Tell Your Man That He Stinks

- By

Easier said than done, right? There’s just so long that a woman can beat around the bush with her man, especially if they’ve been together for a hot minute. So if after weeks, or months of the same ‘ol gunky teeth, embarrassingly ashen skin, humming armpits and crotch or uncomfortable hairiness (whether on head or body) still nothing has changed, it may be time to throw in the towel. While you can’t change a man and shouldn’t try to do so, offering constructive criticism about serious things as bodily hygiene is needed for most men and women to get right. So it’s time to be real with him, but do so in such a manner that you’re placing yourself in his shoes so you’ll come correctly. You wouldn’t want to say, “Baby, your breath is on 10.” Instead, let it be known that you care and you’re only looking out for their best interests. Use common sense because one of two things can happen: A positive change could come, or he’ll resent you for hurting his feelings. Being blunt is only good for emotional situations, not when you’re trying to be of help. Therefore, always proceed with caution.
