Lark Voorhies Hits The Red Carpet For “Where We Started” Premiere
Growing up, little girls everywhere admired Lark Voorhies (better known as Lisa Turtle from Saved By The Bell). Her timeless ‘90s character was spunky, fashionable and gorgeous. Unfortunately, despite her adorn fame, Voorhies’ acting career dwindled shortly after her time as a teen star.
Last year, Voorhies’ name once again entered the mainstream, but for troubling reasons, as her mother reported that her 40-year-old daughter has bipolar disorder. Although Voorhies denied having a mental illness, her questionable actions still raised red flags and since that time she’s pretty much stayed off the scene. Until now.
Over the weekend, the actress appeared on the red carpet for the indie flick “Where We Started” and although her appearance still suggests a bit of a cause for concern, seeing her out and about makes us hopeful that her health might be on the mend. It even looks like she might have a boo thang in the person of WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard who shared this photo on his Instagram page.
His caption read:
Last night at the premiere of “Where we started” on a nice outing with Lark Voorhies aka Lisa Turtle on #SavedByTheBell She looks great and is staying in shape for some big things.
Perhaps she’s even returning to the big screen soon. What do you think?
