Don’t Sleep

TJ Holmes left his comfortable post at CNN to ink a deal with BET for his own news show on the network. Sadly, the show wasn’t given the chance to get better. Holmes’ attempts to be the black John Stewart didn’t work and people weren’t thinking about “Don’t Sleep,” especially when it went from four days a week for 30 minutes to once a week for an hour at 11 p.m. After debuting in October 2012, the show was done by December and the network ended up canceling their relationship with Holmes too. He left a steady anchor job for all that…
