Porsha Williams’ Attorney Says Kenya Moore Was “Primary Aggressor” In Fight, Plans To Pursue Felony Charges Against Her

April 22, 2014  |

After Part I of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, which included Porsha dragging Kenya Moore down by her hair, I’ve found quite a divide in people’s reactions to the whole messy scene. Many think that Moore pushed Williams one too many times and deserved what she got (this sentiment was felt by RHOA cast mates as well), while others thought Porsha acted out of control, and that trying someone doesn’t necessarily equal the right to dish out a butt whooping. Porsha Williams has remained quiet about everything, but her lawyer, Joe S. Habachy, told TheWrap that he and his client plan to pursue felony charges against Moore, and that SHE was the actual aggressor in the whole fight.

“Cast member Kenya Moore sought out the warrant and, although the claim is unfounded, Ms. Williams fully cooperated with investigators and looks forward to clearing her name.

Furthermore, several cast mates and witnesses report that it was clear that Kenya Moore was undoubtedly the primary aggressor in the incident. Thus, Ms. Williams, who has never been arrested before, intends to contest the pending misdemeanor and to pursue felony charges against Kenya for aggravated assault.”

But could Williams have had some things in her system that pushed her to behave in the manner in which she did that night? According to Radar Online, an insider at the reunion show claims she was drinking wine (and a lot of it) in her dressing room before the reunion show. While I don’t necessarily know if I believe all that, it could explain why she had that very emotional moment right after the scuffle, where she was crying and screaming on the ground. It was so bad that she needed to be consoled, and carried away, by members of her beauty team.

Porsha was drunk…  there were two bottles of wine in her dressing room. She came to fight Kenya and needed some liquid courage!

She is very unstable. She’s been taking medications and mixing it with alcohol.

Bravo knows that she is now nothing but a liability. Her attack on Kenya failed, and she lost her mind. It’s all very sad.”

But whatever is going on with Williams, I think we all need to put aside our dislike of Moore and be honest in the fact that there was no reason for that attack. Annoying props or not (and shame on Bravo producers for allowing all that), it was just a poor choice by Williams, and whatever consequences there are, she will need to deal with them, learn and move forward.
