“I Had To Purge Some People From My Life” Monifah And KeKe Wyatt Address Beef In “R&B Divas Atlanta” Preview

April 21, 2014  |

The last time we saw the Atlanta “R&B Divas” it seemed like they couldn’t even sit down to a dinner without someone popping off, causing drama or out and out acting a fool. It’s allegedly the reason why Nicci Gilbert has distanced herself from the franchise she once helped produce along with Faith Evans.

But through all the messiness, it seemed that Monifah and Keke Wyatt had the closest relationship. Monifah seemed to be one of the few people on the case who was trying to play peacemaker with all of those waring women. And she had another level of empathy when it came to Keke and her issues.

But apparently, with all the drama that went down between Keke and Angie Stone, I guess Monifah was over it.

In a conversation with fellow cast member, Syleena Johnson, Monifah said that she’s altered her whole lifestyle. In preparation for her wedding Monifah has become a vegan, is working out and has made a conscious effort to get rid of toxic people from her life. And unfortunately, that included Keke.

Meanwhile, Keke, who says she hasn’t heard from Monifah in six to eight months, is certain that Monifah is throwing shade at her and is trying to decide whether or not she’s going to reach out.

Take a look at the clip, the first five minutes from the season premiere, and let us know what you think is going on. Was Monifah wrong to cut Keke out of her life without an explanation? Or is Keke too much?
