Keke Palmer Scores Deal For “The Keke Palmer Project,” Becomes Youngest Person To Host A Talk Show
As we’ve followed Keke Palmer throughout her career, the triple threat has showed us she can do it all, from singing, to dancing, to acting. This year, at 20 years old, Palmer will add talk show host to her resume, becoming the youngest person in the history of television to occupy that position.
Keke’s show, The Keke Palmer Project, will be featured on BET Networks in an attempt to draw in the millennial audience. Deadline reports the show, which will air in July Mondays through Fridays, is produced by Telepictures and Judge Mathis, who will serve as executive producer.
The Keke Palmer Project will revolve around fashion, pop culture, social issues, sex and celebrity interviews. It will also have “on the street” and undercover segments. The show is largely based on Palmer’s interactions with her fans on social media.
“I like to read quotes that touch on how I am feeling. If I am dealing with confusion, I will read quotes about clarity and peace of mind. I started posting these quotes on my Twitter page, and the fans responded so positively! I realized that many of them were dealing with similar issues, and the quotes helped to open up a genuine dialogue between us,” she’s quoted saying.
We are excited to see what Keke has in store for viewers in July! Will you be tuning in?
