Stay Messy: Lil Mo Takes Jabs At Estranged Husband In New Song “Loyalty”

April 18, 2014  |

Another week, another Lil Mo track. And while before she was slamming the people on social media who hate on her new relationship, now she’s taking shots at her soon-to-be ex husband gospel recording artist Phillip Bryant.

Mo has a new mix tape called No Sh*t Sherlock full of covers from popular songs on the radio.

The “R&B Divas LA” star has said that she’ll spill the tea on what happened with her marriage in the next season of the show but judging by this new song “Loyalty, Loyalty, Loyaltyyyy Feat. Da Brat” Mo samples Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and absolutely slams her old man.

The lyrics read as follows:

“He said I ain’t livin’ right. Call Iyanla to fix my life, but first let me roll up cuz I’m about to take flight. Don’t be mad cuz a young boy cuffed your wife. It only took one try and I ain’t think twice. And I ain’t look back and now you look dumb. Won’t you go tweet that, since you thumb thug. See that a** in court, yeah, my second divorce. Nigga f**k your life, n**ga f**ck your force. The f**k I look like, beating that dead horse. N**ga youse a corpse, n**ga you just lost.”

Real mature. The song also features a verse from Da Brat where she talks about a dude’s shriveled scrotum. Yikes!

You can listen to the song below.

Bryant is Lil Mo’s second husband. The two married sometime after 2005 and Lil Mo gave birth to the couple’s first son in 2009 and then their second son in 2012. The couple separated earlier this year. And within the same year she started dating her current boo professional boxer Karl Dargan aka Dynamite.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s time Lil Mo take all the seats in a B 747 and fly off somewhere until she can relocate her mind because at 35, with four kids, two of which are Bryant’s, Lil Mo shouldn’t be acting like this. Her ex is right, she isn’t living right.

But with that being said, there is at least one song on Mo’s mixtape that actually adequately showcases her talent, especially this one featuring a woman named TC called “I Am Love.”
