Mike Epps Accuser Claims He Assaulted Her As She Argued With His Wife
Yesterday we told you about a woman who accused comedian Mike Epps of punching her in the face at the “Haunted House 2” premiere after-party the other night in Los Angeles. According to the woman, who has since identified herself as Simone Shepherd, she confronted Mike, who was accompanied by his wife at the party, and things went to hell from there. As you may recall, Simone claimed to be an ex-lover of Mike; however, Mike’s camp pegged her as a fan who got too close at the party while he was trying to spend some time with his wife. Mike has also insisted that he never laid a finger on Simone.
The alleged victim recently spoke to TMZ about the altercation and she’s saying that Mike and his camp aren’t telling the truth. For one, she insists that she’s not a groupie, but a comedic actress, who actually worked for Mike in the past as a ghost writer. According to her reps, Simone was invited to the event by the Wayans and sometime over the course of the celebration, she got into a heated argument with Mike’s wife. Mike reportedly stepped in and tried to separate the women, which is when Simone says he punched her in the face.
While police sources initially said that the young woman showed no visible signs of an attack, Simone claims that her face began to swell later that night due to the impact from Mike’s fist. Mike has yet to comment on her claims.
