In the past few years the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has become a staple in our community. Every year, our favorite celebrities and music lovers head to the west cost to celebrate music. However it wasn’t until 2010 that the first hip-hop headliner, Jay-Z, appeared. Ever since then, Coachella has served as one of the locations for the most epic reunions and moments. Check out our favorite Coachella moments from both past and present shows and let us know which ones you loved.

Calvin Harris & Rihanna

During Calvin Harris’ set at Coachella in 2012, bad gal Rih Rih surprised the audience and performed two of her hits and then Rihanna brought out Katy Perry to sing “We found love” and “Where have you been.”

Jay & Bey

It was only right that Mr. Carter brought out his wife for his first Coachella performance.

Madonna

Coachella became known as the Madonna show in 2006. Madonna dominated the festival with the 30-minute set in the desert. Do you hear that crowd?!?!

Kanye West

Kanye, Kanye, Kanye. Not only did Kanye debut the Yeezy 2s during his 2011 Coachella performance but also he arrived to his set on a platform! The rapper then went on to perform multiple hits and dedicated the performance to his late mother.

Solange & Bey

Sister love! It’s impossible not to include Bey Bey and Solange dancing together on our list. The Knowles’ sisters warmed our hearts this year.

Nas ft Jay-z & Diddy

There’s nothing better than witnessing to three hip-hop legends performing together. Nas surprised everyone when he brought out Jay-z this year.

The Wu Tang Reunion

The Wu-Tang Reunion at Coachella 2013 was definitely a memorable one.

OutKast Reunion

This year’s OutKast reunion was a sight to see. We can’t wait to see how they switch it up next weekend.

Tupac Hologram

A Tupac Hologram. That is all.

Prince

Prince became one of the first megastars to hit the Coachella stage in 2008. The legend covered Radiohead’s Creep during his performance.
