Did Draya Michele Take Orlando’s Advice And Quit ‘Basketball Wives’?

Back in February we told you that “Basketball Wives” star Draya Michele’s boyfriend, Orlando Scandrick, suggested that she quit the show.

“You know what? I think it’s been really hard on my boyfriend,” Draya said during an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood. “We watch it together and he’s came to the point already. It’s been episode one, we saw 60 minutes of what is going to be going on for 12 weeks and he’s like ‘You know what? I don’t think you should do this next year. How much are they paying you again? I’ll pay you double to sit your a** on the couch.’”

After saying all of that, she made it clear that she’s not really looking to quit the show anytime soon.

“Well, I think that ‘Basketball Wives’ is my date to the prom so I gotta dance with her for a little bit because that’s who I came with,” she explained. “But I don’t have to go home to her at the end of the night. So I would like to do my own thing eventually. Once the ‘Basketball Wives’ train comes to a stop, I would like to graduate into the Draya Show and I’m already transitioning into that.”

We’re not sure if the “Basketball Wives: LA” train will be coming to a stop anytime soon, but it looks like Draya’s ride may be just about over. After this weeks episode, the reality star released a few tweets that seem to imply that this will be her last season.

“Won’t catch me arguing with the chicks I made semi-famous any longer,” she tweeted. “They gonna have to carry themselves or fight with each other.”

“You crown your enemy queen when you start responding to their fans. Lol.”

It does seem like a lot of the cast has been looking to pick fights with Draya for camera time, so it will be interesting to see how things go if she’s no longer on the show. She also released a tweet to deny rumors that she’s beefing with the show’s executive producer Shaunie O’Neal.

“Despite what blogs may report… I have nothing but love & the utmost respect for Shaunie O’Neal … How could I not, she gave me a chance.”

Do you think the show can survive without Draya?
