One thing’s for sure, reality TV weddings aren’t the same as televised royal weddings, but these weddings are just as entertaining (if not more). Reality weddings are usually filled with much drama before walking down the aisle and many of them have been ratings gold, which means it makes sense for Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker to be the next reality stars to showcase their wedding on the small screen. And we’re sure Mama Joyce will keep fans entertained about her thoughts on the weddings — going back and forth from she’s not going to say anything and hopes she’s wrong to she knows her daughter is making a big mistake and she’ll regret it. Oh brother! But Burruss and Tucker’s big day (and the drama leading up to it) hasn’t been experienced by just them.

Here are 15 other major reality TV weddings filled with tears, love, romance, hilarity and much drama.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom

Odom seems to be still fighting for his marriage and Kardashian has been linked to French Montana again. Their marriage might have fallen apart, but for five years it was wedding bliss for these two reality stars. Their wedding was featured on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and featured 250 guests including many celebrities. The two married after only one month together. He proposed after three weeks of dating. She accepted and married him after nine days of planning (they were doomed from the start), but the marriage did last for four years until Kardashian filed for divorce last year in December.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey

These two dated for a few years, then broke up and reconciled months later. In 2011, they married! Lachey’s second go at marriage and reality TV. Many blame reality TV for his failure of a marriage with Jessica Simpson — hence, the reality TV curse. The couple documented their wedding on “Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding.” The two have a son together and have been together since. Lachey finally overcame that reality show curse — maybe it helped that after the wedding the cameras stopped rolling.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

They were the infamous couple of “The Hills.” They married in 2009 and even Lauren Conrad attended the televised wedding! The couple BRIEFLY broke up in 2010 in what was a publicity stunt — something they love to do! These two definitely deserve each other — fighting to keep their 15 minutes of fame ever since. Good luck, you two.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy

Frankel admitted she settled for Hoppy. She filed for divorce in late 2012 after marrying in early 2010. They have a daughter together. And are now fighting for custody of her. The two married on “Bethenny Getting Married?” later titled, “Bethenny Ever After.” The reality show was built around her pregnancy, planning a wedding and focusing on her career at the same time.

Niecy Nash and Jay Tucker

Nash is one of the hardest working stars on TV — appearing on many TV series simultaneously. But she’s not a reality star per se, although being featured on “Dancing with the Stars” and hosting “Clean House.” That changed as soon as she begun documenting her wedding preparations on the reality series leading up to her wedding, “Niecy Nash’s Wedding Bash.”

NeNe and Gregg Leakes

NeNe divorced Gregg in April 2010. She said Gregg wasn’t communicating — leading to their divorce. But the two reconciled years later and remarried in 2013. Her spinoff show, “I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding” chronicled her life with her new husband… again and even his children from a previous marriage.

Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter

Aww, they are too adorable together. The photo to the left chronicles the fun they have together with their children. The two got together on “The Bachelorette” and are one of the few TV couples to not fall to the reality tv curse. The two have been happily married since 2003 in a televised wedding on ABC. She first appeared on season one of “The Bachelor,” but was the runner-up. Let’s just say everything worked out for this mom, wife and career woman!

Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick

Talk about drama leading up to their wedding! First, Mesnick was the runner up on the fourth season of “The Bachelorette.” Then he appeared on “The Bachelor” and at first, he chose Melissa Rycroft. Then, he changed his mind and chose Malaney. The two married on ABC’s “The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding” in 2010 and the couple have been happily married ever since. One of the few success stories.

La La and Carmelo Anthony

These two were married on “La La’s Full Court Wedding” on VH1 in 2010. Eventually the series turned into “La La’s Full Court Life.” So technically La La became a reality star after the wedding series. La La and Carmelo managed to stay together, which is big for both celebrities and reality stars.

Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry

These two were definitely an odd couple, but they did get together on “The Surreal Life,” and they worked for each other when they were together, and it did make one hell of a reality show — “America’s Next Top Model” (the first ANTM winner) dated and married a Brady. The two married on their own reality series, “My Fair Brady” but divorced after six years together in 2011.

Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko

They married on Doherty’s WEtv series, “Shannen Says.” The series focused on the planning her wedding. Since then, everything seems fine for the couple, which is a shock for Doherty — the drama queen. Maybe, she’s finally found happiness with a great guy. Let’s hope so, the couple has only been married for about three years!

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Bassett

If anything Wilkinson offered much hilarity on her show! The same self-titled show that documented her hilarious adventures specifically with her boyfriend and then, husband. Wilkinson became famous being one of Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends. These two went as far as marrying at the Playboy Mansion. After a few bumps, these two managed to stay together for better or worse. But mostly better!

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann

NeNe and Gregg Leakes aren’t the only “RHOA” stars to tie the knot on a spinoff show. Zolciak and Biermann were the first to get a spinoff show, “Don’t Be Tardy…” The show originally focused on her huge wedding in 2012. Since then, it focused on their family life. Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas are the other “RHOA” stars to tie the knot in 2010, which was shown on season three in early 2011. The couple’s marriage has been rumored to be on the rocks with an alleged cheating scandal, but Bailey recently stuck up for her man. Zolciak and Biermann seem to be doing well — welcomed twins to their family in November 2013.

Carmen Electra and David Navarro

These two goth celebrities got married in 2004 and MTV was behind their reality series in preparation of the wedding, “Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.” But although death didn’t do them part, the two ended their relationship in 2006.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

She was the next Kardashian to get married after Khloe. But at least Khloe’s marriage lasted some time. These two married on Aug. 20, 2011 and Kim filed for divorce on October 31, 2011. They were only married 72 days! And they became the butt of everyone’s marriage jokes and things in everyday life that lasted longer than the marriage! Now Kim is marrying Kanye West sometime this summer in what is supposed to be another televised wedding — just like the one with Humphries, which aired literally right before she filed for divorce. Let’s see if she makes it past 72 days with the father of child, North West.
