It looks like it may be Daniel Craig vs. Chiwetel Ejiofor in the 24th James Bond film.

The Oscar-nominated “12 Years a Slave” actor is being eyed to play the villain in the forthcoming Bond installment, TheWrap reports. No official offers have been made, but sources reportedly say the actor is the first choice of director Sam Mendes (“American Beauty,” “Revolutionary Road”), who also helmed “Skyfall.”

Plot details surrounding the still-untitled Bond entry are unknown. Joining Craig and, potentially, Ejiofor are Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, who will reprise their roles as Q, M and Eve Moneypenny, respectively. John Logan (“Gladiator,” “Hugo”) will write the script.
