Will You Watch? Pharrell Williams Joins “The Voice” As A Coach

- By

I know I’m not the only one out here who absolutely adores NBC’s “The Voice.” It is, hands down, indisputably, the best singing competition show on television. No discussion needed. Not only are the competitors top notch, the celebrity coaches are sincerely invested in making their contestants better.

There are dissenting opinions about Usher’s character out here but he is an angel on “The Voice.” I bring that up to say that the show makes these folks better. Ok, so that may be a reach but you know what I’m saying.

And now the hit show is welcoming a new face to those red, spinning chairs.

The show officially announced that producer, rapper, singer, music connoisseur, Pharrell Williams will be joining the show’s seventh season.

The show’s official Twitter account posted this message confirming the news today.

“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7,”

And then afterward, Pharrell cosigned, writing, “This is going to be so fun.”

No word on who Pharell will be replacing of the original coaching lineup. But the final coach cast will be announced later.

What do you think about Pharrell as a coach on “The Voice”? Will you watch now that he’s going to be on the show?
