Could Porsha Williams Be Fired From RHOA For Violating New “Zero-Tolerance Policy” Against Violence?

March 31, 2014  |

According to TMZ, Porsha Williams could possibly be dismissed from Real Housewives of Atlanta because of the brawl that took place during filming of the reunion late last week.

There were rumors last year that Williams could be axed after this season because her storyline wasn’t really developing the way producers wanted. Now, TMZ reports that sources close to the show say producers are making a decision of whether or not to cut her because of her violent physical attack on Kenya Moore during the taping of the reunion.

This is interesting considering that earlier in this season, Apollo Nida beat up Kenya’s friend and assistant Brandon DeShazer at the doomed couple’s night event. But according to TMZ, a zero-tolerance policy against violence was put in place right after that embarrassing melee, and with the RHOA star putting hands on Kenya last week, Porsha clearly violated that policy.

TMZ says an official decision hasn’t been made yet, but execs are deliberating on how this messy situation should be handled.

I don’t know, after this successful season, I don’t see the folks at Bravo seriously standing by this policy, but then again, I was surprised when Sheree Whitfield got the boot in 2012 after years of being a major cast member. While I would be sad to see Porsha go, there are consequences to physically assaulting people–even instigator Kenya Moore.
