Jada Pinkett-Smith Reminisces About Putting Differences Aside To Co-Parent With Sheree Fletcher
Co-parenting in a blended family is no easy task, just ask Jada Pinkett-Smith. The “Hawthorne” actress recently reminisced about the moment that her and her husband’s ex-wife, “Hollywood Exes” star Sheree Fletcher, learned to put their differences aside for the sake of raising Will’s eldest son, Trey.
“I call this pic [provided above] our victory shot,” Jada wrote in a Facebook post earlier today. This is Sheree and I at Trey’s 21st bday in Vegas. Sheree sent it to me last night, and boy did it take me back in time.”
Jada then went on to express how difficult it was for her and Sheree to come together initially.
“Two women who were begrudgingly thrown together that made a decision to make SOMETHING good out of it. Our common purpose was ONE THING…to create a family for a little boy named…Trey.”
While it may not be considered a big deal to some, Jada adds that it’s one of her most important achievements.
“This will be one of my most proud accomplishments of my life.”
This isn’t the first time Jada took to social media to discuss learning to co-exist with Sheree in a blended family. Last year the actress offered similar sentiments.
“When I married Will, I knew Trey was part of the package…Period! If I didn’t want that…I needed to marry someone else,” she expressed. “Then I learned if I am going to love Trey…I had to learn to love the most important person in the world to him…his mother. And the two of us may not have always LIKED each other… but we have learned to LOVE each other.”
