Who tuned into Dancing With The Stars last night? Even though I say time and time again that the show is way too long, there I am, right in front of my computer watching it for two hours. It was an intense show yesterday though, especially since the big surprise of the night was that not one, but two couples would be eliminated in one night. At the beginning, I was sure it would be Billy Dee Williams. Hey, I love him too, but he had the lowest scores last week and R2-D2 couldn’t even save him and his Cha Cha Cha. But surprise, surprise! He was safe! Guess all the mothers of the world and Star Wars fans blew up the phone lines for him. So was NeNe going to go home early?
Last week’s Cha Cha Cha was good, so I was hoping she wouldn’t get the boot so soon, and luckily, she didn’t. After pulling off a very difficult jive (in what looked to be flats…), she was saved by America and her scores from last week gave her some cushion. In the end, swimmer Diana Nyad and hockey player Sean Avery were eliminated.
As the dances become more difficult, we’re hoping NeNe and and Billy will be able to keep up, because they’re both at the bottom of the leaderboard right now. NeNe’s jive pulled a 21, and Billy’s tango (which was him doing a lot of walking while his partner and three other women danced for their lives) nabbed just a 15 out of 30. We’ll have to wait and see how long they will be able to last.
Check out both of their performances below and let us know what you thought of how they got down on the dance floor:
