Jennifer Lopez is back, so to speak, but the visuals from her new music video make it look like she never left — and not in a good way. “I Luh Ya Papi” is the new newest single from Jenny from the Block and though the song has a dope beat, the juvenile chorus makes it hard to sing/listen to this song with any type of seriousness. That’s pretty much the same way we feel about the song’s accompanying music video, which just dropped yesterday. I’m no J. Lo fan — when it comes to her singing — but even I know that the 44-year-old could’ve done much better than these visuals which look more befitting of a 16-year-old. And seriously the Nae Nae? We all know Jenny’s a far better dancer than these lazy moves.

Rocking booty shorts and sneakers, crop vests and high-waisted shorts, and buns with baby hair, Jennifer looks exactly the way she did in her 2001 video for “I’m Real.” Kudos to her for maintaining that body, but we’re confused why she hasn’t evolved at all on the video front — especially when there’s an entire 1-minute intro poking fun at wack video concepts, and then she proceeds to release this…

But maybe we’re wrong. Check out the video up top and tell us what you think. Are you feeling “I Luh Ya Papi”?
