Celebrity blasts from the past are always fun to look at. Though not many celebs talk a lot about their high school years, some made the best of this time by joining the cheerleading squad. Here are 14 celebs who put on their uniforms, picked up their pom poms, and cheered their hearts out.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry was a cheerleader in both junior high and high school. Though she looked extremely cute in her uniform, Berry says that she hates thinking back to those times. During practice she forgot to wear her underwear under her uniform and pretty much flashed everyone.

NeNe Leakes

In high school NeNe Leakes was a cheerleader as well as a basketball player. Looking at her today, she definitely has the vocal range and the fighting spirit that a cheerleader needs.

Eva Longoria

During her younger days, Eva Longoria was a novice at cheerleading. Not only was she a cheerleader at her high school, but she also cheered for Texas A&M University. Pretty impressive!

Fergie was a cheerleader at Glen A. Wilson High School in California. Looking at the way Fergie can jump and flip around during concerts, it’s likely that she got some of these skills during her time as a cheerleader.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock was a cheerleader at Washington-Lee High School in Virginia. She also spent time doing theater at the school and was voted the “Most Like to Brighten Your Day” by her classmates.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox was a cheerleader at Morningside Academy in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was able to re-live her life as a cheerleader in the 2009 movie Jennifer’s Body.

Cynthia Bailey

During her high school years, Cynthia Bailey was a cheerleader and we have to say she definitely rocked that outfit! Nowadays she’s climbed her way to fame as a model, actress, CEO, and of curse, as a housewife of Atlanta.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz cheered at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and looking at her, it’s no surprise that she was a cheerleader. Diaz is nothing short of spunky and sassy, with plenty of perkiness to go around.

Paula Abdul

Paula Abdul is another celebrity on the list that totally fits the mold of a cheerleader. As a singer and dancer, it only makes sense for her to have been a cheerleader. Abdul not only cheered in high school, but also professionally for the L.A. Lakers. As a Laker Girl she was nominated as the head choreographer just 3 months after joining the squad.

Lindsay Lohan

Long before she ever took a sharp turn for the worst, Lindsay Lohan was a cheerleader at Sanford H. Calhoun High School in Merrick, NY. Though she only attended the school for a short period of time, she definitely left her mark on the squad.

Kirsten Dunst

If you’ve seen her in Bring It On, then you’ve already seen Kirsten Dunst’s cheerleading skills. She picked up a lot of these skills when she was a cheerleader at Notre Dame High School in Los Angeles. Crazily enough she was in Bring It On the same year she graduated high school.

Snooki was a cheerleader at Marlboro High School and her height made her the perfect girl to be thrown in the air and lifted up. Though cheerleading should be a sport to remember, Snooki has spoken out about how cheerleading caused her to become anorexic. She would go for days without eating. Thankfully nowadays she’s much healthier!

Blake Lively

Back in 2005, Blake Lively was a cheerleader at Burbank High School in California. During her high school years she was also senior class president as well as a member of the choir. High school was definitely a busy time for her!

Looking at her today, it’s not shocking at all to know that Madonna was a cheerleader in high school. While she attended Rochester Adams High School, she shook plenty of pom poms, but said that she got a kick out of provoking classmates by not shaving her armits and showing them off.
