Cynthia Bailey is no fool. Though “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has had an amazing six-year run thus far and while it is still an extremely successful installment of the ‘Housewives’ franchise, she realizes that all good things come to an end—even wildly successful reality shows.
“Just as it started, it will end, and we will be replaced by someone that America thinks is much more interesting to watch,” the supermodel explained during an interview with Now What?
The RHoA went on to say that she has no regrets about appearing in the series.
“My only regret would be to walk away from this and not be set for life and not have taken advantage of every single opportunity that I could.”
Cynthia, who was joined by her husband, Peter, also discussed the importance of compatibility when selecting a mate.
“Please don’t marry someone you’re no compatible with because it’s not going to work,” Cynthia said. “You gotta want the same things.”
And speaking of their relationship, Cynthia also weighed in on how it felt to have the public and family members constantly offering commentary on their relationship.
“Well with my family, it was difficult because your family is your family and you always want to have a good relationship with them. However, I will take responsiblity for how they approached the situation. I was the one who would pick up the phone and call them anytime something happened or money was looking funny or I was uncomfortable. They were my sounding boards. They were the people I went to and vented to because they were the closest to me. I gave them that right and I gave them that power. So I do take some responsibility.”
As for the public, Cynthia says people were very insensitive when her and Peter were experiencing relationship problems.
“People were literally rooting for us not to make it.
