The tabloids are full of stories of quickie divorces and multiple-marriage celebrities. But these stars are doing what they have to to keep their marriage together. Are they on a righteous path? Or putting up with too much to stay together? Check out this list of celebrities who’ve moved past marital missteps.

Wendy Williams

Would you stay married to a cheater? Wendy says she never thought she would. But when she found out Kevin was stepping out — after the birth of her son and 14 years of marriage — she decided to stay and work it out.

Wendy says the decision made her marriage stronger. But she does say it changed her. Her advice for cheating spouses? “Unless you are cold busted, take it to your grave.”

Tiny and T.I.

Rumors that T.I. has a love child with the friend of a woman who keeps reaching out to Tiny on Twitter have turned T.I. and Tiny’s family hustle into a family struggle. But the way this couple seems to work through it is to deny, deny, deny.

T.I. maintains that the affair didn’t happen. And Tiny was quoted as saying that she won’t believe anything without proof:

“I haven’t seen anyone come forth and say that it’s his child. So, it definitely don’t apply!”

Is giving your spouse the benefit of the doubt the key to making a marriage work?

Rasheeda and Kirk Frost

Kirk had a mid-life crisis when Rasheeda got pregnant with a baby late in life. But these two didn’t let his very public shenanigans on “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” get in the way of 13 years of holy matrimony.

Rasheeda says the key to saving their marriage was focusing on their roles as friends, parents and business partners to give the romantic aspect of their relationship time to heal.

Yandy and Mandeecees

These two aren’t married yet, but they’re dealing with more than most married couples. A lot of women have a strict “no jail” policy. But despite the fact that Mandeecees was arrested for child molestation and drug charges and might be facing serious time, Yandy is hanging in there and spends her time fighting for his cause.

NeNe and Gregg Leakes

NeNe saved her marriage by ending it. When she felt that Gregg was taking her for granted, she said “He needed to feel what it was like without me.” After 15 years of marriage, she set that butterfly free and he came flying back with a $1.8 million dollar wedding.

Paula Patton and Robin Thicke

At one point, it seemed like divorce was on the table for these two — likely because of growing rumors about Robin’s infidelity.

But Robin may have saved his marriage by refusing to let go. He’s cut back on partying to show Paula he can be serious, and now it looks like she’s taking him back.

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith

Do you think Jada’s open marriage policy is her way of keeping her marriage in tact while Will sows his wild oats? Would you allow your man to step out in order to keep your family unit together?

T-Pain and Amber Najm

Jada and Will aren’t the only ones keeping their marriage open. T-Pain says that Amber agreed to an open marriage to keep their relationship afloat. And now he’s recommending that all women do the same if they want to keep their husbands faithful.

Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon

Say what you want about their relationship, but newlyweds Nick and Bobbi must really be in love to stand up to the Houston’s. They’ve publicly shaded their relationship, and now they’ve taken to beating on Nick.

Gary Michael Houston, Whitney’s nephew, reportedly beat Nick up during Whitney’s nieces birthday party. But despite the shade and the bruises, Nick seems to be hanging in there.

Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey

Sometimes saving your marriage means one of you has to put in work. Behind the scenes of all the other Real Housewives of Atlanta drama is Cynthia and Peter’s rocky relationship.

They may have hit a rough patch, but Cynthia seems to be pulling out all the stops to surprise, pamper and seduce her marriage back to where it’s supposed to be. We’re sure Peter will return the favor once their marriage is back on track (and Cynthia’s sister finally moves out of the house).

Jackie and Doug Christie

Jackie says control is the key to being a basketball wife for life. Jackie says that Doug knows that if she even has reason to suspect he’s crossing the line, she’s gone. She recently revealed that he’s not even allowed to watch flicks at home unless she’s in the same room…

Vince Herbert and Tamar Braxton

Tamar’s sister Towanda recently let it slip that Vince Herbert owes $3 million in debt. Not every industry mogul finds that his wife sticks around during a financial crises. We love how Tamar and Vince kept loving and supporting each other even through the rough times.

Mo’Nique and Sidney Hicks

Mo’Nique says honesty was the key that helped her marriage survive open season when Mo’Nique played the field while she was on the road.

Their honesty about the nature of their relationship helped make their marriage stronger. And Mo’Nique says that when she finally realized what a good man she had, she stopped stepping out.

Now the only “open” in their marriage is their total honesty with one another. Today Mo’Nique looks trim, happy and like the better half of a marriage that’s stronger than ever.

The First Couple

The President and The First Lady’s marriage is far from perfect. Back in 2000, Barack Obama fought a losing battle for a House seat and nearly bankrupt the family — after Michelle advised him not to run.

Michelle let him know that he needed her permission to make big family decisions by serving him with divorce papers. Michelle’s move reminded Barack of the importance of his family and they went on to be The First Couple of the United States.
