“She’s Still Single”: Bobby Brown Says He Had No Idea Bobbi Kristina Got Married To Nick Gordon

March 4, 2014  |

For the last month or so, Bobbi Kristina and her new husband, Nick Gordon, have been very public about the fact that they got married, and the blessing they received from Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston, to tie the knot. One person whose blessing wasn’t given and who wasn’t in on all this was Bobby Brown of all people.

While leaving dinner last night in LA, a photog from TMZ asked Brown what he had to say about Bobbi Kristina’s new marriage, and he replied with a surprising, “She didn’t get married. Naw. She’s still single.”

I guess he better tell her that, because she’s been telling the public a different story.

The photog continued on with his questions, confused by Brown’s response and asked if there was at least a marriage in the works for Bobbi Kristina:

“I don’t know yet. I don’t know as of right now.”

Brown was also asked if he would give his blessing to Bobbi Kristina if it’s true that she already tied the knot, to which Brown replied, “Yeah, of course. If she chooses the right one, yeah.”

When asked what Brown had to say about the reports of her marriage, as well as Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon’s own interviews saying they are married, Brown made it clear that if she did get jump the broom, he didn’t get the memo, and wasn’t invited to any wedding.

“I don’t really have much to say about it. If she says she is, I don’t know about it.”

Last time I saw father and daughter anywhere near each other was at Whitney Houston’s funeral, but it seems they haven’t really been keeping in touch. So either he knows something we don’t, or he doesn’t know something the world knows, and he might need to pick up the phone and have a chat with his daughter.

But check out the interesting conversation between Brown and the photog below and let us know what you think.
